Mairang Presbyterian Higher Secondary School is one of the prominent  co-educational schools located at Mairang, district headquarter of Eastern West Khasi Hills District. It was established in the year 1958 by the Mairang Presbytery. It was originally called Mairang Christian Proceeding High School. Today, the school stands tall and proud with a student strength of 1700+  from classes KG to XII. The Higher Secondary section has two streams - Arts and Science. The success of the school is due to the many efforts made by the School Managing Committee, Principal, Vice-Principal and the qualified  and dedicated Teachers which has brought laurels to the school by the pass percentage each year as well as securing positions in the merit list of the state board exams, MBOSE. The school community is ever striving and committed to providing a safe and healthy environment where students are supported and encouraged to grow and have  overall development.
